At the heart of Bombo's stories are Blueberry Bombo, Santtu and Mikko.

Blueberry Bombo

Blueberry Bombo is a curious little blueberry who loves nature and small adventures. He enjoys the peace of the forest and finds joy in every path, rock and birdsong.

Bombo spends his days fishing, picking berries and observing forest animals. To him, nature is a great playground that offers something new and wonderful every day.

He lives in his log cabin deep in the forests of Northern Finland. The cabin is warm and cozy, but only a few know exactly where it is located.

Loyal companion

Santtu

Santtu is a gift from Santa Claus, which Bombo received after saving Christmas in the movie Frozen Korvatunturi. He is small, curious and energetic, always ready for adventures with Bombo.

Together they form an inseparable team. The dog brings joy, safety and a touch of wild energy to every day.

Santtu appears little by little in Bombo's adventures.

Inventor friend

Blueberry Mikko

Blueberry Mikko is Bombo's old friend and an enthusiastic inventor who lives in the busier landscapes of Southern Finland. His workshop is full of machines, experiments and new ideas.

Mikko builds all kinds of gadgets: small, large, funny and surprising. Inventing is his way of exploring the world and bringing more joy into it.

Mikko visits Bombo several times a year, and every visit brings a new adventure. Shared trips, stories and Mikko's inventions make their friendship special.

Santa Claus

Deep in the land of snow and northern lights, in the middle of the northern forests, lives Santa Claus, the real Finnish Santa Claus.

He works together with his Cranberry Elves, preparing gifts and listening to children's wishes from around the world.

The glow of the northern lights is dear to Santa Claus, because it reminds him why he loves Lapland so much.

Santa Claus is kind and wise. Even though he travels around the world every Christmas, his home and heart always remain in Lapland. He reminds us that the true magic of Christmas is found in friendship, sharing and joy together.

Cranberry Elves

The Cranberry Elves are resilient, cheerful helpers born for Christmas. They help Santa Claus make gifts and make sure every child is remembered.

The elves have built a vast cave network inside Korvatunturi, where they work from spring to autumn. When winter turns the tunnels cold, they move to Santa Claus Village to continue Christmas preparations in their warm workshops.

In Santa Claus Village, the elves pack gifts, plan new things and keep the cheerful Christmas atmosphere alive. Their world is full of inventiveness, hard work and a little festive magic.

Ilmatar

Ilmatar is a mythical figure from the Kalevala who brings the mysticism of ancient times and the power of nature into Bombo's story moments.
